Efforts seniors make to enjoy music . . .

Seniors who reside in the neighbourhood of Sri Kapali Temple, Mylapore are the lucky rasikas, always. They have to take a few steps to get into a concert.

The best destination is  Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan.

Many of them are well into their 80s but gather their bones and pump up their spirits to make it to the concerts. It isn't easy - few places are seniors-friendly. Ramps, access to gates and suitable washrooms are in place only at the renovated or new halls.

This visual records the effort a senior puts in to enjoy some music. A man at hand helps but this woman made immense effort to be at a concert by the Priya Sisters.
